DHULIKHEL: A pipe bomb went off near the Nepal Telecom Office in Banepa, Kavre, today morning, police said. According to an eye-witness, a group of four youth had planted the bomb wrapped in the bag on a heap of garbage near the telecom office and left before strewing some pamphlets at the site. “They had kept the bomb and just 15 minutes later it went bang,” they said. Police had found pamphlets reading various slogans and the name of Bishwobhumi Sena Bishal Nepal emblazoned on them from the site. The pamphlets have demanded that the government take action against the corrupt, murderers, traitors of the nation. A police team has been deployed to track down the persons involved in the explosion. — HNS
