SANKHUWASABHA: Newly constructed 120-metre steel truss bridge over Sabha Khola, linking Khandbari and Chainpur was officially inaugurated on Monday. It was constructed with the financial and technical support of the United Kingdom. The infrastructure is said to be resistant to earthquakes and flash floods. International Development Alan Duncan jointly inaugurated the bridge, which links Tumg-lingtar Airport with the Arun Hydropower Project. The UK government had provided £3 million through the Department for International Development for its construction.
