KATHMANDU: CPN UML has said that it would not participate in the majority government formed as per the Article 38 (2) of the Interim Constitution of Nepal.
The Standing Committee meeting of the party took place at the Constituent Assembly building, New Baneshwor on Thursday took a decision to this effect.
Talking to media persons emerging from the meeting, party Standing Committee member KP Sharma accused the Maoists of turning over the agreement reached among the parties on Wednesday.
Though the CPN UML was ready to join the national consensus government, problems have arisen due to the obstructions of behalf of the Maoists, leader Oli said.
