HURON concerned
KATHMANDU: Human Rights Organisation of Nepal (HURON) has called on the bodies concerned to resolve the present political stalemate and form a national consensus government. Issuing a press statement here on Sunday, HURON said the country was still unable to get a new prime minister even after six rounds of elections. The present situation has resulted in problems of social security, rule of law, and human rights, read the statement.
German found dead
KATHMANDU: A German national was found dead in room 712 of Monumental Paradise Guest House in Jhoche, Kathmandu- 23 on Saturday night. Police have identified the deceased as Janosch Laupesien (40). The cause of death was not known.
