Man's charred body found

KATHMANDU: A gruesome killing came to light today with police recovering the badly- burnt body of Rameshwor Raut (42) of Sirutar-2‚ Bhaktapur‚ stuffed inside a hume pipe at Chitrapur‚ Dhadhikot-6.
According to family members‚ Raut had left home at around 5.00 pm yesterday to distribute invitation cards of his daughter’s wedding scheduled for Monday.
Police recovered from the site Raut’s motorcycle numbered Ba 38 Pa 5229‚ a jacket and a bank cheque.
According to the family‚ Raut had not received threats from individuals or criminal gangs. Meanwhile‚ police said that they are trying to track down the murderers and establish the motive behind the crime. Police had not made any arrests as of this evening.
