RAUTAHAT: A child died after drowning in a canal in Rautahat district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Shyam Majhi, 10, son of Chandeshwor Majhi.
According to Police-Inspector Gautam Mishra, the child died after drowning in a canal of Bagmati Irrigation Project situated at Chandranigahapur-5 who was gone for swimming with his friends.
