KATHMANDU: Civil Bank has entered into an agreement with Cellcom for the payment of Nepal Telecom bills using ‘Cellpay Service’. The bank’s customers using the facility can easily recharge their Prepaid Mobiles and pay Postpaid, PSTN and ADSL bills with ‘Cellpay Service’ of Cellcom without any additional charges, it said. A memorandum of understanding was signed and exchanged between the vice president of business and market operation at Cellcom Kamod Dhungana and CEO of the bank Kishore Maharjan.
CDB adds counter
KATHMANDU: Dhading-based Civic Development Bank (CDB) has opened Adamghat extension counter at Pida VDC-1 in Dhading. CDB’s second extension counter was jointly inaugurated by the members of the bank’s board of directors Tanka Shrestha and Gajendra Man Shrestha on Monday. It has an authorised capital of Rs 100 million, issued capital of Rs 40 million and paid up capital of Rs 40 million, respectively.

KATHMANDU: Nepali Jutta Ghar located in Ratriya Naach Ghar, Jamal has opened a new showroom at New Road in Kathmandu. The outlet at New Road was jointly inaugurated by actor Nir Shah and former miss Nepal Malvika Subba on Sunday. Nepali Jutta Ghar has branded local footwears of Shikhar, BF Dear Hill, Sky, Koseli, Cross Road, Leather Wings, Takura, Footland and Shoeland, it said, adding that on the occasion it has also launched an offer where customers on their purchase of over Rs 1,500 will get a pair of slipper or shoe of Shoeland for free. The offer will be valid till May 8.
