KATHMANDU: Civil Homes, since launching the scheme ‘Civil Sun Ma Sugandha Super Bumper Offer’ on Sunday, has sold 39 units of its property including bungalow and apartments at Zone I and II projects of Phase IV at Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. The company will provide an outlet at Civil Trade Centre worth Rs 10.5 million as bumper prize for those who buy bungalow at Zone I of the Phase IV project. Zone I has 34 bungalow to choose from, it said. Similarly, it will also give another outlet at Civil Trade Centre worth Rs 5 million for people who buy bungalow at Zone II that has 24 units in offer. The company will also give away a house worth Rs 7 million at Colony I at its site in Sunakothi, Lalitpur to one of the
buyers of its 88 units of apartment. The company will give 107 gram gold coins to the first 20 buyers of Zone I bungalow and 77 gram gold coins to first 10 buyers at Zone II.
Butwal Finance’s AGM
KATHMANDU: The 14th AGM of Butwal Finance approved the financial institution’s proposed merger with Kathmandu-based Alpik Everest Finance and CMB Finance following the central bank’s green signal. Butwal Finance has a paid-up capital
of Rs 22 million, whereas Alpik has Rs 110 million and CMB has Rs 150 million paid up capital, respectively. “After the merger, the new firm will be named ABC Finance and will be financially stronger,” according to the finance company.
TAT bags award
KATHMANDU: The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) New Delhi has been awarded ‘The Best Outbound Tourism Board’ at the International Tourism Conclave and Travel Award held at East Bourne Resorts and Spa in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, India. Director of TAT Runjuan Tongrut received the award for the campaign ‘Amazing Thailand’. The awards were given on the basis of a survey conducted by I Creative Minds including travel agents, tour operators and social media. It is the third award for Amazing Thailand this year, others being ‘The World’s Best Country’ and ‘The World’s Best Wedding Destination’ by Travel and Leisure.
Ace honours toppers
KATHMANDU: Ace Institute of Management organised the annual A Level graduation and award ceremony on Friday at Radisson Hotel. The
college felicitated the graduating students for their achievements. The guest of honour was Ewan Davis, country examination manager from the British Council who distributed 14 different ECA Achievement Awards to students who did well in computing, sports, art and design, team work, social service, event management and presentation from both the Advance (A) and Advance Subsidiary (AS) levels.
