Locals said that people of Musahar community attacked the police post after they intervened in a clash that ensued among the villagers over a minor issue.

RAJBIRAJ: Police personnel as well as around half dozen villagers were injured in a clash at Tarahi Police Post in Saptari district last night.


Locals said that people of Musahar community attacked the police post after they intervened in a clash that ensued among the villagers over a minor issue.


The dispute took a nasty turn after police brought the accused Shiva Chandra Sada of Tarahi-8 to the police post to hold discussion in order to settle disputes of villagers.


Police claimed that the clash had taken place after locals of Mahasur settlement manhandled police after police attempted to take under control to Chitranjan Sada who misbehaved with the police.
