MAHENDRANAGAR: CPN-UML politburo member Rajendra Prasad Pandey today said the political instability faced by the country will end before Dashain as CPN-UML is trying its best with other national parties to find a lasting solution.

He said his party is in favour of seven different federal states in addition to one federal state from Seti to Mahakali. Federal state, Pandey believed, must be less expensive and the country should bear its cost. He further said he is convincing the leaders who are in favour of the single ethnic state.

Speaking at a press meet in Mahendranagar, Pandey said the country is mired in political and constitutional problems. He further said such a situation always harm the people and is not a good indication for the nation.

Pandey went on to say the deadline for the constitutional body is going to finish. If the election commission remains vacant, it would be an additional burden to the country. So, to give the way out to the country, there must be the consensus among all the political parties.

Similarly, he termed the integration process of the combatants for the past few days in the Nepali politics as breaking the ice. The of polarisation among political parties is the main hindrance for the political way out of the country, he maintained.

On a different note, Pandey said his party is also against polarisation as groups and sub group inside the parties are causing instability. He said the re-establishment of CA would hardly solve the problem of the country, but at least there would be some agreement among all to go for the next election.
