Constituent Assembly poll only option: Thapa

BIRGUNJ: Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal Chairperson Kamal Thapa today said the country had no option but to go for fresh Constituent Assembly elections.
“As it is not good to keep the country in constitutional void for long, there is no option for the political parties but to do away with partisan politics and be prepared to go for fresh polls,” said Thapa, addressing a meet of his party cadres here today.
“As the constitutional bodies of the country are becoming vacant one by one, the crisis facing the country will be severe soon for the want of a people-elected body,” he added.
Further, he stated that the people were now seeking an alternative as they have been fed up of the ‘dirty political games’ of the past six years.
