KATHMANDU: Minister for Information and Communications, Raj Kishor Yadav, has said the constitution, which is being promulgated within May 27, would incorporate the aspirations of all Nepalis.
At a programme organised by Citizens' Voice for Peace and Development in the capital on Wednesday, Minister Yadav said, "New constitution would not serve the interests of particular people and groups only but address the demands of all Nepalis."
The recent discussion and debates was providing a base to do away with the static and regressive elements, he said, adding that he was committed to writing a pro-people constitution.
He further said the federalism he wanted was the federalism demanded by the Nepalis from all across the country where all of them find themselves included and respected.
Moreover, Minister Yadav lauded the role of media for peace and constitution-writing. He also hoped for a constructive role of the media in future too.
