MAHOTTARI: Kin of Ajitlal Karna, a resident of Jaleswor Municipality-5, have urged human rights activists and mediapersons to find Karna’s whereabouts. According to Karna’s family, police had arrested him from their house on May 6.

Speaking at a press meet organised at district headquarters Jaleswor yesterday, Ajit’s mother Suvadra urged all stakeholders to find her son’s whereabouts stating that police have not made Karna public since his arrest a month ago.

She also urged the concerned stakeholder to save his life as the police have been denying they arrested Karna. Detained Ajit had attended the BBS third year exam this year

According to Suvadra, three days after Karna’s arrest, police came with a fake report saying they had seized arms and ammunition from their house.

Meanwhile, District Police Office said they had raided Karna’s house suspecting their involvement in a bomb explosion that took place in Ramananda Chowk in Janakpur on April 30, but they did not arrest Ajit.
