Cops uncover names of Jankapur bombers

JANAKPUR: The name of the mastermind of bombing at Ramananda Chowk of Janakpur, Santosh Chaudhary (Mukesh Chaudhary) has been made public.
At a press meet organised by the Central Research Bureau of the police, Bureau Chief Upendra Kant Aryal said the fact was proved on the basis of adequate evidence.
He said information has been received that Chaudhary is in India.He said the government will be requested to bring those involved including Chaudhary to book and initiative will be made for seeking cooperation from INTERPOL and through diplomatic channels.
From investigation, it has been revealed that Chaudhary has undertaken the crime to make him known as a worker of the Terai Students Liberation Front formed six months ago.
It has been proved that the bomb was planted at Ramananda Chowk by Jaya Prakash Chaudhary (Shivam Sharma), 21 of Bishahariya VDC-8 of Saptari district as directed by Mukesh, he said.
They had used high explosive detonator with remote control mechanism in metal pipe in the incident, it is learnt. Five people were killed and 32 injured in the explosion.
