KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar has said that the recently signed five-point agreement has ended political uncertainty.
Gachchhadar said this while assuming his office today at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The DPM added that the five-point agreement will help significantly for ongoing peace process and constitution writing.
The newly-appointed Home Minister directed the chiefs of the security bodies and officials of the Ministry to be on high alert by viewing the security situation of the country just ahead of May 27, the final date for constitution promulgation.
On the occasion, high-level officials at the Ministry and chiefs of the security bodies were present.
