Dahal Yagyanidhi feted for contribution to Nepali

KATHMANDU: Litterateur and mediaperson Dahal Yagyanidhi was felicitated at a function in the Capital today. Born on Saun 4, 2010 BS in Khotang, litterateur Dahal has been suffering from kidney disease for long.
Some 60 organisations honoured Dahal, who earned popularity with his radio programme ‘Sahitya Sansar’, for his contribution to Nepali literature, media, language, education, culture and democratic movements.
Senior litterateur Maya Thakuri provided handed over the felicitation letter to Dahal.
A book titled Jadau, a biography of Dahal and his works edited by Ramesh Subhechhu, was released on the occasion.
At the function, chancellor of Nepal Academy Bairagi Kainla expressed happiness over the honour bestowed to Yagyanidhi.
