DAMAULI: Property worth Rs. 500,000 was gutted when a fire suddenly broke out Wednesday in the house of Tobir Gurung at Buchakhani of remote Raipur VDC-2 of Tanahun district.
The mud house with thatched roof was reduced to ashes, said the Area Police Office Bhimad.
Rs. 58,000 in cash and gold and clothes were destroyed said the family.
The fire started from a candle lit for Deepawali, but no human loss was caused. The family is taking shelter at the neighbour’s.
