Chairman of Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry‚ Surendra Prasad Shrestha said state restructuring should be done by being practical.

BUTWAL: Butwal-based entrepreneurs and intellectuals have stressed for federating the country on the basis of natural resources and means, geographical status, and historical paradigms.


Speaking at an interaction organised by the Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry here today, they demanded that Lumbini province should be ensured at any cost in the new federal setup.


They said Lumbini province was linked to the dignity of whole country people adding that Federation of Nepalis Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) should support wholeheartedly to this demand.


Chairman of Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Surendra Prasad Shrestha said state restructuring should be done by being practical.


He said the people of this region were ready for any sort of protest for the cause of Lumbini province.
