KATHMANDU: The faction led by Nepali Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has decided not to join the present Government.
A meeting on Sunday of the central members and CA members representing the faction decided not to join the government until the dispute concerning the sister organisations of the party was resolved.
The meeting also decided that it would not be proper to join the Government before the contentious issues in the constitution making process were dealt with.
Speaking after the meeting, Central Member Mahendra Yadav said a decision was taken to not join the present Council of Ministers without resolving the internal dispute inside the party, and the remaining contentious issues in the constitution making process.
Senior leader Deuba was present at the meeting.
