JANAKPURDHAM; District Police Office, Dhanusha on Friday made public four people, who are accused of their involvement in incidents of killing and abduction last month.
The accused who were made public today are Ram Dev Mukhiya (58) and Ram Babu Yadav of Duhabi, Naim Rain aka Lubara Kabadi of Saghara, Dhanilal Mahato (25) of Phulgama and Raj Kumar Mahara (22) of Govindapur VDC of Dhanusha.
They were arrested on the charge of their involvement in the abduction followed by murder of Dipesh Yadav, five-year old son of Laxmeshwor Yadav of Duhabi, on October 9. Mastermind behind the abduction and killing Binod Mukhiya (38), however, is still at large. Binod had plotted the incident to settle a score with Laxmeshwor, who had outdone him in getting a job in an NGO, police claimed.
Lubra Kabadi, another accused in abduction of Shyam Sundar Mandal (52) of Dubbarkot Hathilet on May, was absconding for long and police paraded him too today.
Another culprit Dhanilal Mahato was arrested from his in-laws’ house at Ekarahiya after successfully rescuing Arjun Kumar Mandal (6), who was abducted by Mahato, last Wednesday from Makhanaha of Dhanusha district. Accordingly, Raj Kumar Mahara was arrested from Kajara Ramaul of Dhanusha along with weapons. The police seized a pistol and a bullet from Mahara.
