DHANGADHI: Various organisations including Sudurpaschimanchal Jagaran Munch have warned that it will be intolerable if attempts are made to split the far-western region at a time when policy level debate is on to steer the country to federal structures.
At a press conference organised here on Wednesday, chairpersons and representatives of Seti Mahakali Federal State Council, Western Nepal Autonomous State Council and Jagaran Munch warned they will not go back to resort to any struggle if efforts are engaged to divide far-western region on the basis of ethnicity.
Seti Mahakali Federal State Council Chairperson Mohandev Bista cautioned all that the time has come to vigil the conspiracy being hatched to split the far-western region's two districts – Kailali and Kanchanpur – and delineate them in separate state.
Jagaran Munch Coordiantor Puskar Raj Joshi warned that they will go underground to launch armed struggle if Kailali and Kanchanpur are kept out from entire far-western region.
It was informed at a programme that various five organizations are moving ahead to work together in favour of intact far-western region.
