EC calls parties for talks on CA election

KATHMANDU: The Election Commission (EC) is to hold discussions with political parties representing in the dissolved Constituent Assembly (CA) about the next elections of the CA.
According to Acting Chief Election Commissioner, Nilkantha Upreti, the EC is going to hold discussions from Tuesday.
Different political parties including the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, UCPN-Maoist and CPN-Maoist have been invited at the EC for discussions.
The government has fixed the date of new CA elections for November 22 but the major political parties have been pressing for national consensus government rather than elections.

People(leaders) should not ask for the moon by quoting rules which no more exist.There was no rule to finish off with the CA!!Why did they do it on the first count?? Election Commission should not have any problem to carry out election.Let there be fresh lot of leaders to guide the destiny of the nation. gaunle, xxx
