Entrepreneurs enforce Janakpur Bandh

JANAKPURDHAM: Entrepreneurs have shut down Janakpurdham on Tuesday saying that the Department of Inland Revenue cheated them by establishing Taxpayer's Service Office in Bardibas.
Issuing a press release, Janakpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that establishing the office in Bardibas without holding discussion with the Janankpur-based business community was an anti- Madhes move.
Earlier, a press release issued by the Department stated that all works to establish the office was postponed for holding further discussions with the representatives of FNCCI chapters of Sarlahi, Mahottari, Sindhuli and Jaleshwor municipalities.
Transport services as well as industries, markets and banks have been affected due to bandh.
