Envoy Jayanta Prasad calls on Dahal

KATHMANDU: Indian envoy Jayanta Prasad on Tuesday morning has called on Unified CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal at his residence in Lazimpat.
“In the meeting envoy Jayanta Prasad inquired Chairman Dahal about the budget and the latest political development of Nepal. Chairman Dahal briefed the envoy about the latest agreement reached on the budget for the fiscal year 2069-79 among the political parties and assured him that the deadlock would get an outlet soon,” Dahal's aide Shiva Khakurel said.
Envoy Jayanta expressed his belief that the political parties of Nepal would arrive at consensus on the prickly issues clearing the decks for the national consensus government.
