Facebook is a social networking website launched in February 2004, operated and privately owned by Facebook Inc. It was founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow students. Currently facebook has more than 845 million active daily users. Among the total users more than half of them are teenagers. Even though facebook helps maintain a good relation with friends and relatives, is facebook really good for teenagers?

As it is a social networking site, teenagers are connecting with unknown people because of which they sometimes get into big problems and spoil their careers. Some teenagers are also involved in facebook hacking as well. Teenagers have many responsibilities. If they waste their time on facebook can they fulfil their duties and responsibilities towards their family, society and nation? Pictures uploaded on facebook are creating a lot of problems nowadays. It is not that facebook or any other social networking site should be banned for teenagers. Teenagers can utilise the viability of facebook. They can open and contact with their friends or relatives through facebook only on holidays or free time and they must be very careful that facebook is not harming them and their future.
