DHANGADHI: Normal life in the districts of far-western region including in Kailali and Kanchanpur remains crippled for the 13th consecutive day on Wednesday due to the bandh enforced, demanding an integrated far-western region in the new constitution.
All academic institutions, industries, government offices and transportation service remains shut since day one of the shutdown.
The poor and daily wage workers have been hit the hardest with acute shortage of daily essential goods, fuel and other commodities.
The bandh continues despite the call by the Government for a dialogue after forming the talks team. The bandh organisers have put forth a demand that the talks should be held in the far western region itself.
The bandh organisers have also decided to take the ongoing strike ahead and also hold talks simultaneously.
