Fire engulfs tea shops

BHADRAPUR: Physical materials worth Rs. 1.5 million have turned into ashes when an inferno engulfed a shop at Birtamodh Bazaar, Jhapa at around 10 pm last night.
The tragedy took place at the teashops of Prem Prasad Uprety and Binod Bhattarai, said the Area Police Office, Birtamod.
The fire was brought to control with the mobilization of locals, police and fire-engines from Mechinagar and Bhadrapur at around 11 pm.
No human casualty has been reported in the incident.
