Folk singer Subedi dies

KASKI: Folk singer Tirtha Sagar Subedi, who was critically, injured in a motorcycle accident, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara on Tuesday.
Subedi, 32, of Kaskikot VDC in Kaski district was injured in the motorcycle accident at Ranipauwa of Pokhara on May 1.
Funeral rites of Subedi, also a member of the Folk Duet Song Academy, Gandaki Zone, performed at local Ranghat today, according to the family source.
Subedi has sung different folk songs including Sarangi Ko Dhun, Phoolaiko dalima, Sani Nani, among others.
