Former national player injured in road accident

RAJBIRAJ: At least seven persons including a former national player were injured after a vehicle that was carrying participants of a wedding ceremony met with an accident at Bhardaha in Saptari district on Friday morning.
The accident took place after the Bolero Jeep bearing Indian number plate (BOR 6555) overturned while heading to Duhabi in Sunsari district.
Shyam Kumar Mandal, trainer of wrestling and former national player, of Launiya-4 and others were injured in the accident. The injured are undergoing treatment at different hospitals in Rajbiraj and Dharan.
