Fugitive Rungata in police net

KATHMANDU: Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police on Tuesday has nabbed fugitive Rajesh Kumar Rungata (47) from his hideout in Tripureshwor area.
Rungata was on the run after Kathmandu District Court convicted him on corruption charges on July 2, 2008.
Convict Rungata was involved in the corruption by tampering bills in cahoots with the army staffers while supplying goods to the Nepali Army nine years ago.
Police have handed him to Kathmandu District Court for necessary further action.
