JHAPA: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar today said the country could get a political way out within mid-February after the Unified CPN-Maoist's plenary session.
Speaking at a press meet in Bhadrapur, Gachhadar said, “The political situation in the country has worsened due to the countrywide protests by the opposition parties. This will not take the country to anywhere. Offering solution to the crisis, he pointed out that polls would be the best option to solve the present political stalemate facing the country.
Saying that the nation could get a political way out soon after the Unified CPN-M's plenary session, Gachhadar said election might be held on the due date. He went on to say as a big political party of the country, the UCPN-M has the responsibility to take the peace process into a logical conclusion. He further assured that his party would support for the same.
After the press meet, Gachhadar went to observe the Mechi Bridge that he laid the foundation-stone on February 4, 2010. Supervisor of the construction company, Anil Shrestha said the bridge would be completed within two years.
