Gachhadar visit brings tension to Dhangadhi

DHANGADHI: Tension gripped Dhangadhi Airport after youth leaders of opposition parties on Monday greeted Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar with black flags.
Gachhadar who is also Chairman of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Loktantrik reached Kailali to participate in the cadres training and assembly.
Student unions aligned to opposition parties also shouted slogans against the incumbent government.
The scene became more tense after police arrested a cadre of CPN-UML aligned All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU).
A large number of police personnel were deployed to prevent any untoward incident between the supporters of Gachhadar and cadres of opposition parties.
