JANAKPURDHAM: Unified CPN-Maoist central member Haribol Gajurel today said only consensus among the parties could give the country a way out of the political deadlock.
He admitted that the Maoist-led government has been preoccupied with the issue of the government issues, and therefore, it is not being able to take clear decisions on anything.
Speaking at a press meet, Gajurel pointed to the possibility of a serious confrontation in the country should the UCPN-M too descend on the street like NC and UML.
On a different context, he said the constitution-drafting failed because the international community could not be convinced on the issues of federalism.
