Govt office chiefs in road construction

GULMI: Chiefs of government offices in Gulmi have joined hands together to construct the road in the district.
Chief District Officer Kabindra Nepal, Local Development Officer Hari Prasad Gyawali, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Baidwar, Chief of District Livestock Office Hari Bahadur Kundar and Chief of Agricultural Development Bank Gopal Gaire, among others reached the remote village in Constituency No. 3 in the district by constructing the road themselves.
Most of the motorable roads in the district are in limbo due to lack of proper utilisation of the fund though more than half of the district's budget was spent in road construction in the district.
The government officials travelled to Hwangdi VDC from Arkhawang by constructing the road themselves after the road was in a dilapidated condition.
