BHAKTAPUR: Bhaktapur Nite-2067 organised by Bhaktapur Municipality and Tourism Development Committee, Bhaktapur, to promote night tourism in this historic city concluded last night.


Speaking during the concluding ceremony, Tourism Minister Sharat Singh Bhandari said the government will invest in the promotion of night tourism.


While maintaining that identification of tourism places should by prioritised in local levels, he said that the country's identity should be spread all over the world during Tourism Year 2011.


At the programme, chairman of Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party Narayan Man Bijukchhe said that art and culture of Bhaktapur should be promoted to attract tourists.


Hundreds of tourists took part in Bhaktapur Nite where many cultural performances were demonstrated.
