KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party (NCPP) on Saturday has called on the government to hold talks with the agitating communities including Tharu for conducive atmosphere.
“Our party’s attention has been drawn towards the recent violent acclivities induced by the differences over the state restructuring which has disrupted the social harmony, brotherhood and mutual tolerance existing among the Nepali people since time immemorial,” NCPP leader Ram Chandra Paudel said in a press statement issued today.
NCPP has also urged all the Nepalis to take up peaceful means while putting forward their demands to be incorporated in the new constitution at a time when the deadline of the constitution drafting is inching closer.
