Kameshwor Chaudhari said maize plans were badly affected in Triyuga Municipality‚ Handiya‚ Sundarpur‚ Rampur and other VDCs in the district.
UDAYAPUR: Heavy rainfall coupled with hailstorms occurred on Tuesday evening destroying maize and other crops in Udayapur district.
Local of Handiya Kameshwor Chaudhari said maize plans were badly affected in Triyuga Municipality, Handiya, Sundarpur, Rampur and other VDCs in the district.
Similarly, the hailstorms that lasted for two hours heavily damaged lychee and mango flowers as well.
