BAJHANG: The District Haliya Liberation Society, Bajhang has announced protest programmes saying that the government has paid no heed to its demands.
Making public the decisions taken by the Third District-level Convention of the Society on Monday, President of the Society, Prakash Bahadur Sarki, said although they handed over an 11-point demand to the Prime Minister on July 26, the government did not pay any heed to their demands and so they were compelled to launch protest.
Among the protest programmes announced by the Society are holding interaction and consultative discussions with the stakeholders on Tuesday, organizing a pressure exerting rally in the district headqauraters, Chainpur, on August 10 and staging a token sit-in at the District Administration Office on August 13.
