Health institutions to come under purview of law

BHAKTAPUR: The District Public Health Office, Bhaktapur has planned to bring the health institutions and organizations illegally operating in the district into the purview of the law.
Chief of the District Public Health Office, Arjun Kumar Adhikari said the process to legalize such health institutions has been initiated as per the directives of the Ministry of Health and Population.
It is said more than 300 such institutions including dental clinics, eye clinics and other health organizations are operating in the Bhaktapur district without acquiring the permit from the District Public Health Office.
The District Administration Office, Bhaktapur has also issued necessary directives for monitoring and legalizing such health institutes.
