KATHMANDU: A gang of robbers brandishing knife and iron rods on Monday barged into the house of Jaya Bahadur Shrestha of Chapali Bhadrakali at 2pm and looted valuables worth Rs 5.97 lakh, police said.The looters, who made off with two Rado watches, Rs 2,000 and gold and silver jewelleries, are at large. Police said they are investigating the case. —

KATHMANDU: Valuables and cash worth Rs 3 lakh were looted from the house of Radhika Pradhan, located behind the Ganga Hall in Balaju on Sunday night. Rs 25000, laptop, three golden bangles were looted.

Kathmandu: CPN-Maoist spokesperson Pampha Bhusal has said that only a consensus among the political parties can resolve the present constitutional crisis. Speaking at the Kathmandu district gathering of Revolutionary Journalists’ Federation on Monday, she said the problem should be resolved through a broad-based consensus involving political parties and the civil society.
