INSEC raises voice against YAN high handedness

KATHMANDU: Informal Sector Service Center (INSEC) condemned the vandalism by the ruling UML party’s youth organisation, Youth Association Nepal’s cadres during their protest programme on Friday.
INSEC condemned the attack on innocent people and the damage on private and government property.
Issuing a press release INSEC urged the government to take stern action against the assailants who had attacked journalist Khilanath Dhakal and implement the rule of law in the nation.
INSEC in its statement also condemned the police brutality during the protest and urged the government to probe the incident and provide proper compensation to the victims.
The protest began yesterday over the arrest of Youth Force chairman Mahesh Basnet, for providing protection to Parshuram Basnet, the prime accused in the attack on Dhakal.
