Some 250 Karodi people here live by hunting and begging.
GAUSHALA: Entire people from the Karodi community living at Dhamaura VDC- 4 in Mahottari district are found to be illiterate.
Some 250 Karodi people here live by hunting and begging. They spend their nights under the open sky near the villages. The Kadori community comprising 40 households has a nomadic lifestyle.
They hunt wild animals like snakes, mongoose, mice and cats for livelihood.They have demanded that the government should come up with a special programme to make their children literate.
