JANAKPURDHAM: Minister for Information and Communications, Raj Kishore Yadav, has said the government has been formulating a concept for localising advertisements so as to end all discriminatory practices in the distribution of advertisements.
Speaking at a programme organised by the Press Club of Janakpur in his honour here on Tuesday, Minister Yadav said discussions were taking place for the enforcement of the Working Journalists' Act.
In another context, he said the drafting of the pro-people constitution was the country's current need, adding that the parties failing to realise the demand of time would surely lose their existence.
Also speaking on the occasion, senior journalist Rajeshwor Nepali drew the attention of the government towards the 'prejudice' in the classification of news papers.
The programme was chaired by Club President Himanshu Chaudhary.
