Integrated public health campaign in remote VDCs

BAGLUNG: An integrated public health campaign has been initiated in six western VDCs of Baglung district with an objective of providing health services to people living in remote places in an easy and accessible manner.
The campaign has been conducted in Bowang, Bogadobhan, Khunga, Khukhani, Adhikarichaur and Tamang VDC on the initiative of the District Public Health Officer, Baglung.
Teams comprising 54 health workers have been deputed to the VDCs from district headquarters and the teams will provide health services conducting door-to-door campaign, said Senior Public Health Administrator of District Public Health Office, Baglung, Sagar Dahal.
'Our team will acquire information about the health status of people reaching their doorsteps in six VDCs of the area', said Dahal, adding that 'Health services will be provided as per the health status of people'.
