KATHMANDU: Dinesh Karki won the second Acer Mercantile Golf Tournament on count back at the Royal Nepal Golf Club today.
Karki was tied on 41 points with Jayendra Shah. Karki scored 21 and 20 on two halves, while Shah scored 22 and 19 to finish second.
Els Schpendonk won the women’s section title with 38 points, while Rekha Ghimire (37) came second. Schpendonk also bagged the most birdies award. DIG Niraj Pun (34) and Dr Singh Bahadur Basnyat (31) claimed top two spots in senior section.
Aditi Ghimire claimed the junior section title with 29 points, ahead of Sonam Ongdi Lama (23). RNGC Vice-president Rabindra Man Shrestha and Sr Manager at Mercantile Office System Pvt Ltd Kabindra Jonchhe gave away prizes to the winners.
