Two killed‚ 26 injured in Palpa bus fall

PALPA: Two persons died on the spot and 26 others sustained injuries in a road accident at Lamdanda of Tansen, Palpa on Tuesday morning.
A fatal accident occurred as a passenger bus (Lu 1 Kha 3135) heading to Butwal from Tansen skidded off the road and plunged 60 metres down at Lamdanda.
Those who died at the spot have been identified as Anil Karki (35) of Tansen and Deepak Lama. Lama is said to be the bus helper.
Some of the injured have been ferried to the Lumbini Medical College at Prabesh in Tansen, where they are receiving treatment.
