KATHMANDU: The four major political forces — the UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML and the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) are making a last-minute effort this afternoon to find a common ground over the issue of federating the country , before they go for voting in the CA full House from tomorrow to decide all the 117 contentious constitutional issues.

In the meeting which is to kick off in a while at Special Committee's secretariat office at New Baneshwor political parties are expected to show flexibility in settling at least some of the disputed issues attached to federalism.
Parties are still at variance over the basis, size, number, and the jurisdiction of the federal states, which would be settled through voting if they fail to garner consensus by the end of the day.
