Locals hit hard as VDCs shut in Itahari

ITAHARI: VDC Secretary Welfare Protection Centre, Sunsari, disrupted activities in all the VDCs in the district, on Thursday protesting the manhandling against Bhupal Shrestha, a VDC secretary of Jalapapur.
A Chure Bhawar Party cadre Jamil Miyan had attacked Shrestha while Shrestha was participating at an all- party meeting on Wednesday. The center disrupted VDC activities in the district for a day demanding action against the guilty.
Service recipients in the district were hit hard following the protest in all the 49 VDCs in the district.
