Locals rescue three girls‚ hold two agents

BIRGUNJ: Locals of Thori, Parsa have taken under control three girls and two agents from the Thori check point in suspicion of the girls being trafficked to Indian brothels, and handed them to the police.
The agents were taking the girls to Delhi, India from Pokhara via Madi of Chitwan and Thori.
According to the Area Police Office, Thori, the locals on Friday held Hira Bahadur Sarki of Pokhara Sub-Metropolis-1 and Mangal Bahadur Pariyar of Chitwan while they were taking Sharmila Sunar, 24, Bishnu Sunar, 21 and Muna BK, 18, of Lekhnath Municipality-13 from Kaski towards Delhi, luring them of job in Kuwait.
The Area Police Office further said preparation are afoot to hand over the girls to their guardians through the Maiti Nepal and taking agents to the District Police Office for initiating actions.
