Lockout ends in Salyan land revenue office

SALYAN: The lockout at the District Land Revenue Office, Salyan, from Sunday has been opened on Friday.
UCPN-Maoist District Committee, Salyan, had padlocked the office protesting the government decision to withdraw the previous step of legalising the land deals carried out by the Maoist's people's government during insurgency.
The party had locked out the offices in nine different districts under the Maoist's Magarat State Committee.
The office was opened in the presence of media persons after the government decided to form an all-party probe committee led by Maoist politburo member Janardan Sharma.
